About Robyn Humphries

Robyn Humphries, Founder and CEO of Moorlanga Healing

Robyn Humphries is a Ballardong Nyoongar and Ngadju woman, Founder and CEO of Moorlanga Healing, and a passionate advocate for the social and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal children, young people, families and communities.

Drawing on both professional expertise and lived experience, Robyn established Moorlanga Healing to provide culturally grounded healing and support for Aboriginal children and young people, particularly those involved in Out-of-Home Care and child protection systems. Her work is founded on the belief that healing occurs through connection to culture, identity, family, community and Country.

With more than 20 years of experience across counselling, child protection, youth services, family support, community development and Aboriginal wellbeing programs, Robyn has dedicated her career to supporting individuals and families experiencing trauma, grief, loss, displacement and cultural disconnection. She currently works as a Therapeutic Specialist, supporting children, young people, carers and families through trauma-informed and culturally responsive practice.

Robyn holds a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology), a Master of Counselling, a Graduate Diploma in Psychology, and completed a Graduate Diploma in Psychology (Advanced) at Edith Cowan University in 2026. Her academic journey reflects a lifelong commitment to learning and strengthening the evidence base underpinning Aboriginal healing and wellbeing.

Robyn is deeply committed to ensuring Aboriginal children and young people have opportunities to strengthen their cultural identity, develop a positive sense of self, and build strong foundations for their future. Her vision for Moorlanga Healing is to create lasting change through culturally safe, relationship-based healing that honours the strengths, resilience and wisdom of Aboriginal people.

"For our children to thrive, they must first know who they are, where they belong, and that they are valued, loved and connected."
